WBB: General All-NCAA Thread - Not Team Cyclones Stuff

Yeah I get that but I don’t see how the media giving more attention to other players affects the outcomes of games.

Has nothing to do with the outcomes - has to do with they have all fawned over her since the brackets were announced. Many media "experts" picked Iowa for the Final Four, and were already talking about them playing South Carolina and her going against Aliyah Boston to ultimately determine national player of the year.

So you and BC are intimating there may have been some dissension on that team? Interesting.
No….I was just interpreting his post. Think it just means he is tired of all the Clark talk. Can hear about Joens, N smith of Baylor, the Stanford center maybe. The only person you hear about in womens basketball is Clark nonstop.

Not at all - have no idea what goes on inside the Iowa women's basketball team. The tweet goes back to what others have said, all the national media does is fawn over Clark. There were 14 other women selected to the AP All American teams, and we hear squat about most of them.

Reactions: cygrads

Iowa coach Lisa Bluder pointed out that Iowa averaged 18 free throws a game, but shot just eight on Sunday. The referees, for the most part, let both teams play pretty physically. Clark, though, didn't make the officiating a focus.

"I would have liked to get more calls; I could say that every single game," Clark said. "Coach Bluder could say that every single game. Our opponent could say it every single game. I'm not gonna sit here and make excuses for how I play. I think just coming back and working harder than I ever have is really all I can do."

Did a switch flip on Clark? Frau needs to listen to her now.
