WBB: General All-NCAA Thread - Not Team Cyclones Stuff

I am certainly relishing the fact that Iowa lost, but our gals better play one of their better games tonight - CANNOT miss wide open layups, become stagnant on offense, get blown off the dribble & shoot poorly from the FT line - or it will be Mo St all over again. I'm not at all thinking about Creighton right now - gotta take care of business!!!!!

Wow that was insane. Notice how when the game was winding down Clark took it to the hoop, missed the shot but felt some contact and fell down (I thought the defender did a good job) and instead of getting up to go after a loose ball she laid there and pouted.
Think she was giving the JBo impersonation of his fighting skills.

Creighton missed a ton of layups, uncontested for the most part. Should have not been close.

So I just watched a replay of the 3 point bucket by Creighton to put them up by 1 by Lauren Jensen, the Iowa transfer.

The color commentator pulled a spoonerism and said "Lauren Jensen making the most of her homecoming back to Harver-Cawkeye arena..."

Ack. Can happen to anyone.

I thought once during a time out I heard her say Iowa State, but the audio wasn’t clear. Maybe just wishful thinking on my part.

Did you really expect any less in her final postgame of the year?

This is actually the first time I've listened to her. But it seems like the stuff that used to result in fines on coaches. Not sure if they do that anymore.

Bluder opens the press conference bashing the officiating.
Foul calls were like 12-5 before Iowa was forced to foul at the end. She has no room to talk about poor officiating. She got more than half of the 50/50 calls. The refs let them play.

That type of officiating concerns me about tonight.
