WBB: General All-NCAA Thread - Not Team Cyclones Stuff

Baylor scored 7 points in 11 seconds. Bad offensive play calling by the Jayhawks for the last minute of the game

You could tell the moment got too big for KU. They completely melted in that final 30 seconds. This goes out to ALL coaches, WORK ON INBOUNDING THE BASKETBALL! KU inbounds the ball they likely win.

Not sure how I missed that this was on ESPN, #11 Michigan at #8 Maryland. Sad day for Coach Frese as her dad lost his long cancer battle. Sounds like she is heading back Iowa way after the game. Michigan is all over them early, shooting 5-7 from three.

They were congested right around the play. The inbounder could have went to Franklin but pushed the ball to a tightly guarded teammate.

So sorry to hear about Mr. Frese. I saw about a week or two again Brenda went to visit her parents. Condolences to Brenda, Stacy and Marsha and the rest of the family.

Another rout I thought would be a good game. Nebraska all over Iowa. Husker freshman post, Markowski, is 4-4 from three. She' only attempted 7 all season. She's going to be pretty good. Not in good enough shape to play 30 plus minutes IMHO but she is a load in there and if she starts hitting threes peeps will start to notice.

Edit: Iowa came back after that first quarter Husker blitz. 42-41 at half. About 10X the crowd noise compared to Hawk guy games. Crowd noise was pretty noticeable on TV when Iowa had their run.

18-20 from the FT line for TOE at the HALF! Nebraska has NOT attempted ONE FT!! Wonder if Bluder will complain about the officiating after the game!

I can‘t believe the foul difference. 16 vs 1. Nebraska already missing 2 players and everyone else has basically 2 fouls.

Actually didn't notice it till I looked at the box. Huskers did make quite few dumb fouls including one that got reviewed after smacking a Hawk in the jaw. Last week their guard that is out today got pissed and throw a deliberate forearm into the chin of Gabby Marshall. Foul but not flagrant which it 100% was. Huskers aren't a team of innocent wallflowers.

I like watching the Husker team but I'm starting to get the impression they are bit dirty in some of their play.

Turned into a good game. Iowa by 1 with 4th left. Last week was an entertaining game to. Sorta like watching when I don't have a dog in the fight.

Kinda hoping if we are a #2 that Huskers aren't the #7 in our bracket at Hilton.

Toward the end of the Maryland game, one announcer asked the other about teams she thought were good (my words because I wasn’t really listening then) and she proceeded to talk up Iowa State big time.

Just looked on ESPN app and foul count is 24-6. Caitlyn Clark just got her second - a third of all Iowa fouls :)
