You are on an Iowa State site, 99% of us wish the Hawks lose every game. It's the nature of a rivalry.

We beat Uowa this year, head to head we are better, scoreboard says so.

Nice game, squawks LOL. The Big 10 is not that good. I was always suspicious when Iowa was holding teams to under 50 points. Turns out there is only one good team in the conference. UCLA

Lol you are hilarious. I only take small pleasure in it because I know there are a contingent of fans in your fanbase who think there is some reality where Iowa could become a blue blood in the sport like a South Carolina, UCONN, or UCLA... Andrew Downs literally just mentioned it on a recent Iowa Everywhere podcast so I know it's a belief or hope that's out in the universe.

Just keep on dreaming, folks.

Dude, you take pleasure in it because that’s how you are. That’s the kind of “rival fan” you are. The people you’re talking about are in every single fan bas including yours. I don’t take pleasure in it. It’s kind of sad really…

We have those kind of douches in our fan base too. They are everywhere

Ps…. Who the hell is Andrew Downs and if my assumption that he’s an Iowa fan is correct why in the hell would an Iowa State fan be listening to it?

Oh wait….i know why :p

This is UCLA's 19th Quad 1 game this season. They are going to be 18-1 in Quad 1's going into the the NCAA's. :oops:

That's obviously more than any other team. UConn's played 8 so not even half that many. Lots of Big Ten and SEC teams have a dozen plus Quad 1's and a number have 15+. Only KSU had double figures in our Big 12, having played 10, most of our league played 6 or 7.

I thinks it's going to be a challenge for Big 12 teams to schedule NC Quad 1's if the two top leagues are going to have to play so many in league play. There won't be much incentive for them to add games with Big 12 teams looking to improve their SOS and March resumes next season.

Might only be 3/4 good teams in the whole country ?? I had wondered, though the site has been pretty pleasant. I see the haters have stayed out of the fray while Iowa was winning…..

We’ve got petty jealous, bitter fans like that on our site too always upset about what Iowa State is doing. It’s dumb and I chastise them too.

She's a turnover machine. Addy was so much better as a freshman.

Kudos to you yeah for being reasonable. I can’t speak for Iowa fans because quite frankly I’ve been out of the state so long both fan bases have a lot of really unsavory folks that are petty and jealous and angry all the time so I generally avoid them…

With that said, I don’t think anybody’s deeply upset with Addie Deal.

I think what he meant to say is I can’t stand Iowa and I really hope Addie deal is a bust lol

I’m assuming you’re aware there’s a significant difference in floor time for the 2 correct, and I’m assuming you are also aware Addy actually committed a lot more TOs per game as a Frosh ?!

It's the nature of a rivalry. I don't get people who say they don't hate the other side. If you don't, then you've been too far physically removed for long enough time.

The blue blood thing is not achievable in my opinion, for anyone. You either are one or you aren't. Most are established by now, as it's something you build over decades long of high level success. Iowa has been to 2 final 4s I suppose, so perhaps the fans think blue blood is the next logical step. Not, you know, winning your first national title. Again, Caitlin isn't walking thru those doors anytime soon.

Deal has been disappointing considering her recruit ranking. Houston, the gal from Davenport, maybe makes up for it by being better than hyped. She got overshadowed by her HS classmate in the final year of recruting but I'd take her right now for ISU.
