We don't have much room to talk our noncon has been very weak. Although at least have played Indiana and usually Drake and UNI aren't so bad.
As Drake showed last night…they are not good. Probably the big surprise of the season so far.
Those metrics are buying into TTU early. I guess their track record still weighs heavily in my mind. I think they start Big 12 play against Baylor. That one should tell us poser or player.
Been channel flipping between the first of four good ACC/SEC game tonight. Louisville just had a great look at a three to win the game over South Carolina but missed. Texas game was good until Texas put the clamps down midway through the 3rd. Seven ranked teams, only Dukee not ranked.

I miss those league challenges the Big 12 used to be engaged in. Gave us at least another P4 in non-conference other than the annual Cy-Hawk with Iowa. With Iowa being our only Quad 1 game till January it's takes on a bit more importance than I personally put on it most years. Most years it's just a rivals game that doesn't really impact things come March. If we want to bust into a #2 seed we might need this as a win with so few quality games in Big 12 play (at least as teams are currently looking).
And Mulkey is still looking for a Quad 1 game since pre-season this was supposed to be another ranked team matchup. Did get their 100 point game streak ended so there is that!
Ranked teams playing today are all future opponents. Frogs and Cowgirls dining on cupcakes at the Non-Conference Bakery. Iowa might not have a guaranteed win, seems they will be without their PG and top reserve again. If Wright misses this game with the vague "upper body" statement I am guessing she has a concussion.
UTEP is 7-0 against cupcakes, but it would be interesting if they can give TCU some semblance of competition. Iowa’s competition is not good. They should handle Rutgers with their second team playing.
