what to tough problem to have! LOL... reminds me of when Coach Summit (RIH) complained about having to play in AMEs. ironically we lost before that match up.

And the way this year's bracket/schedule set up, South Carolina would still be the first team to play their regional final.

Find it ridiculous that 2 coaches of number one seeds are complaining. I get that SCar played a tough schedule (they lost by 30 to UCONN at home) and USC - maybe she has a little gripe as they did beat UCLA twice and lost in the conference championship (most committees haven't cared about those)...they are one seeds and want something to complain about!!
Staley is just complaining to complain. She has to shortest trip to Birmingham (521 miles) for the regional and Tampa and would play the Final Four in the Eastern time zone.

USC is griping because she is stuck with UConn again in her regional, just like last year.

Was Heiden available all season? Don't remember her and she looks all world today. Yes I know it's a 11 seed but still.

Ha, just turned this on. Was having my Hobbit 2nd-breakfast when I remembered hoops start at 1030!

Yes, she been available all year but playing behind O'Grady and Stuelke. Came on late, especially in the Big Ten tourney, sort of a coming out for her. She was quite highly rated as a HS recruit. And, as you've seen, she really runs the court well. High ceiling for her considering the way Iowa seems to be able to develop posts.

Seems like she should of gotten more time to me. They should play a little twin towers action as Stuelke seems more like a 4 than a 5.

Ha, as soon as I posted this she picked up a dumb freshman like third foul. Still, I've been impressed with her. She really looks to be in great shape. Should be an interesting matchup vs Crooks next year. Iowa will have a fast and athletic Stuelke and a big body mobile post in Heiden. They are also adding another ranked HS big body post in Layla Hays.

Murray state need to just throw in the towel. Walk off the floor, Iowa could score every time down the floor, even if they ole guard them.

UConn by 50 at the half. ABC is probably missing the old whiparound coverage where they could switch to something else, anything else. Who would watch that second half?
