I have to head out to rake leaves soon but O'Grady is 7-7 from the field and Drake started out shooting 70% from three, cooled off a bit from that. O'Grady is not an all-star center but the Hawks do know how to feed the post. And she has not blown the bunnies the passes set her up for.

I'm impressed with Drake's creativity - they're out-hussling Iowa. Iowa's trying to just overpower them with size. I think we'll be able to handle both of them better than Iowa/Drake is dealing with each other. We have size that Drake doesn't have and players quick enough to defend Drake, unlike Iowa. 25-21 Drake at the end of Q1.

Took a break from raking/bagging to watch the the last 12 minutes of Iowa/Drake. Final Iowa 86-73 with Drake hitting a couple of late threes to make it look closer than it was in the 4th.

Katie Dinnebier for Drake went off for 40 points on a million free throws to keep it from being a 20-25 point loss. She was 7-15 from three. While I was watched the refs was really calling it dramatically pro-Drake. Drake won't get those calls at Hilton.

@ICCYFAN was right with his TCU win prediction Huge game from Prince who played all 40 minutes, 31 PTS 16 REB.

Van Lith had 11 assists but still sucks from three, 1-7. 18 pts on 24 attempts.

Interesting stat, starters played 180 minutes with bench only 20. Are they dealing with injuries again?

She shot 20 FTs. Iowa's entire team shot 17. Lol.

Never watched any games, but looking at box scores, I noticed Iowa starts 4 seniors and 1 junior. Interesting to see next year play out.

Not sure what you were looking at but McCabe and Stuelke are both juniors and start. We'll lose O'Grady, Olsen, and Affolter (in terms of starters) next year. Solid young talent coming back from this year's roster:

Taylor Stremlow Fr.
Taylor McCabe Jr.
Hannah Stuelke Jr.
Teagan Mallegni Fr.
Ava Heiden Fr.
Aaliyah Guyton Fr.

Also have top-10 commit Addie Deal coming in.

Was just reading about ASU's game vs Oregon State this weekend. Of course OSU is nothing like its teams of the past as players fled after the break up of the Pac2. ASU's 6’7” “forward” Kennedy Basham had ten points, ten rebounds and 6 blocks. Honestly, I’m surprised she only had ten points at that size. Their guard Tyi Skinner had 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting. Be interesting to see how this duo does moving forward.

Big 12 and Kansas related. She took an unofficial to Kansas this weekend, already had an official. Would be quite a get for Kansas considering the other finalist. I mean Kansas doesn't suck but they've only made the NCAA's four times this century. They haven't been bad the last three years but are picked 7th again this year in a somewhat watered down Big 12.
