The entire thing from money to regulation is out of control. We seem to be behind the 8-ball on recruiting if OSU’s $4 million roster is true. I can’t believe how out of proportion WBB pay is with actual value produced.
Ashley Joens made 30k, Audi is reportedly getting $1.4 million.
The best thing the fledgling sport of Women’s wrestling can do is put some gaurd rails on before it can't. Get all the schools to agree to a set amount. Then the players will be attending because of coaching staffs and academics. The entire thing from money to regulation is out of control.
She’s taking her time she’ll go to a really good teamWe are down to just one left from last tears team to find a new home. I am a little surprised she has yet to find a new home as she was supposed to have been our best player.
She is the one player that can pick and choose where she wants to be. Too bad we couldn’t keep her above all else. She’d make this new squad hum. She’s taking her time she’ll go to a really good team
As expected, the three stars from ISU will find their payday. One has made a big step up, the other horizontal. The third we wait on. All the rest are lateral and mostly lower level. At 9 AM this morning 1523 players have entered the portal. 393 have found new homes. 1,130 are left, which is enough players to field 94 complete teams. So everybody will be able to have a full team next year. Problem is the majority of the good players have already committed. Very few real "STARS" left. Several hundred good average players that could help most anybody out. And at least 500 that will be nothing more than a bench warmer at the next school if they find one. For instance SMU has a player in the portal named Jazzy that averaged 0.9 ppg. Anybody want her? I like the name but not the stats. What a mess this is.
Gophers get the poorman's Crooks. Will be interesting to see how they manage her minutes and how much time she spends on court. They do play a slower and more deliberate pace than a lot of teams and focus on balanced scoring so it will be interesting to see how it works out.
She’s famous for entering the portal committing to Maryland then just going back to Penn St. Some coaches didn’t want to risk that happening againI've never heard of her before, but her stats are all very good. 72% FG on 300 shoots. Seems like an excellent addition.

Believe me I know about that. I had a head on with a drunk driver in the mid 80’s. My Fiat Spider v a four wheel drive truck. I lost. Dislocated back. Deal with those issues every day to various levels. Was it her back that was injured? I take it her back will heal and she reverts to her old self. What I know of backs is sometimes they are nagging.
I remember a player we had that was rated highly but had a back issue that took her out of basketball. I believe her name was Nina Smith. Was it her back that was injured? I take it her back will heal and she reverts to her old self. What I know of backs is sometimes they are nagging.
The back injury is a red flag for many teams I think. She was a much different player when she returned. We are down to just one left from last tears team to find a new home. I am a little surprised she has yet to find a new home as she was supposed to have been our best player.
It wasn't an injury issue for Nina Smith. She left ISU for D2 Holy Family, where she dominated.I remember a player we had that was rated highly but had a back issue that took her out of basketball. I believe her name was Nina Smith.
