The far right logo had me stumped, had to look up an article to find out it was Rice University. And leads me to "Which of the six is not like the others?"
I wondered about that one too.

From lurking on the Texas boards, I believe Rice is quite strong academically. IRL too lazy to look and don't care.

Bill and Jodi were recently in Canada at Southwest Academy Prep visiting our 2022 commit Shantavia Dawkins. Southwest also has 2022 Lemyah Hylton (who released a final five without ISU back in June) and 2023 Keira Spencer.

They also visited Crestwood Prep as well. They are the home of 2024 Toby Fournier.

I suspect they also visited King's Christian, home of 2022 Mack Konig (who verballed Montana in my prior post) and 2022 Bri McLeod. I think Konig played in Washington last year due to Canada cancelling everything but might be back in Canada this year. Not certain I have that right.

Maybe but that's 2022 before they show up and maybe a year or two before maturing as a unit. Good class on paper, no doubt, three of them are ESPN Top 50ish players so looks good on paper and all move up this last rating round. GopherHole is calling it maybe "their best recruiting class ever." Last year for the Gopher's was a mess with Covid disruptions and injuries. Will be interesting to see if they are better this season.

As a local I hope they get back again. It's fun to pop over to William's once in a while for a game.

Moved Mendelson here from 2023 after she reclassified.

Entering college she will be only 17 and wants to play both sports. Certainly can since she is on USA national teams for both sports. Wonder which she leans to more for recruiting. Seems by reading she might be better a volleyball. Thinking about who's really elite in VB followed by what they have for at least decent WBB: Stanford is elite in both, Texas elite VB/good WBB, Baylor top notch in both, Minnesota elite VB/trending future decent WBB, Nebraska elite VB/so-so to okay WBB. Louisville is really good in both both but for some reason doesn't stand out to me. Also surprised to see Stanford down at #15 in VB.
