Way to go, Columbus, NE!

This is merely the first step in a long-overdue process of making games more hostile and war-like. I also think any kid that helps an opponent off the floor should immediately be knee-capped. Keep on keepin' on, Columbus!
 
Sounds like if they would have informed people they weren't wearing white jerseys before the game it might not have been an issue?
 
Saw that article, just ridiculous. Technical should have been called at the start of the game, not at half. (Shouldn't have been called at all.)
 
Don't they know that if the uniforms are light pink then they are predominately white? bright pink would be half red and half white, dark pink predominately red. If they want to get technical that is.

Since the other team's coach (Coach Jackwagon) brought it to the refs' attention at halftime, they either didn't know the rule or (more likely IMO) didn't see the harm.

I'm a stickler for rules, too, but if a rule is being broken by the other guys and it doesn't give them an unfair advantage, I'll let it slide.

The opposing coach has to love his name being printed as the person that complained.

+1000. The pink uniforms were NOT the issue. The coach simply forgot to inform the other team they were wearing them. The technical foul was entirely appropriate. For example, if a player trips and falls into another player as that other player is shooting, isn't it still called as a foul? Even if a foul is entirely accidental, it is still called. Same in this case.

It's technically appropriate, but it's a jerk move and looks very petty.

At least some good is coming out of this for the Make-A-Wish people. I like seeing something good come out of these dumb stories.
