Walking Dead

I think Rick will be cowwed for a while though. He's not going to risk all of his people again like he did before.

I think King Ezekiel will be the one who tries to make an alliance and try to convince Rick to fight back.

The Saviors will probably do something to piss off Zeke later this season.

Anyone interested in why they fed those pigs on Walkers?
I'm wondering if they are trying to poison the Saviors. We saw what happened with Ricks pigs at the prison and they weren't deliberately feeding them walker guts.

I think the endgame of this season, or next, will be an alliance between Alexandria, The Kingdom, and The Hilltop against Negan's Survivors.

I'm not sure how long it will take though. They don't have nearly enough intel on the Survivor's setup.

I think Negan 'holds' people of importance from each group .... so you are sacrificing a member(s) by just defying Negan.

So far so good for me.

Yeah, from the preview it looks like they have Daryl hostage. Fuuuuuuuuuudge

He might have to escape before anything else can go down.

I really want scarface Dwight to get ******* rekt.

I think they are definitely trying to poison the saviors. It's a good idea, until it blows up in their face when Negan finds out. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Yep. I think that might be the reason Negan goes after the Kingdom. Then Ezekiel has to rally his allies to his cause.

They really need to get someone on the inside with the Saviors to scout them out. Maybe Daryl gets the intel while he's captive and escapes to give the Allies a chance against Negan.

Based on the way they were talking on the Talking Dead after the first episode, I'm guessing the saviors aren't going anywhere for a while.

If these groups do try to take out the saviors, I'm guessing it's not going to happen for another 2 or 3 seasons

Negan's group is way too large and well-armed for even an alliance of Alex, Hilltop and Kingdom to make a dent.

But will be interesting to see if Ezekiel's poisoning of the pigs/tribute will pay dividends longer term and weaken the Saviors to the point they are vulnerable. I imagine we will not see anything maybe this entire season, just small conflicts and character development in all these groups.

Suspect Maggie will become the leader of Hilltop, Rick has Alex, and Zeke the Kingdom. Maybe Carol/Morgan/Jesus are the spies running comm amongst the three.

Need more Jesus, soon.

I kind of hope nothing big goes down with the Saviors this season. It would make it too easy if they overcome them so fast.

Didn't you learn anything from the aftermath of Terminus?

I caught up last night. World Series was Sunday so that probably had a few viewers turned away.

I just want to see the tiger rip someone to shreds.

This thread sure has died the last couple weeks.

I am not a fan of the structure TWD is going. Ep 1 Rick n co, Ep 2 Morgan/Carol, Ep 3 Negan/Daryl. Will this cycle continue so we only advance each story like 3 times in a half season? Gross.

I can't remember what season it was they did this. It focused on one person/plot the entire episode. The next episode someone different and so on.

Agree. They used to switch between stories for different groups within the same episode, but last season and this season they seem to be veering away from that. Just more bull **** ways to make people keep coming back.

It also probably accommodates different shooting schedules and other projects better. Less time that the whole cast needs to be there.

I don't know if you've seen the rating for the last couple of weeks but they're hemorrhaging viewers, so they might want to stop messing around.

I'm actually liking how they have been focused on one group each episode. Allows for a deeper story and covering more ground within each episode - more satisfying episodes, as we were able to cover entire plot arcs for the groups shown in Episodes 2 and 3. I expect they will switch back to the more standard format once they have laid the groundwork in each of the main plot areas. That may mean next week is solely focused on Alexandria.
