Walking Dead

The people of Alexandria did a good job scouting and know a lot about everyone. I'm probably wrong, but I think Daryl and Rick are totally being played to get them to buy in.

I don't think the Alex people have evil motives. They are naive and totally underestimating how ****ed up the Rick people are.

I think Daryl is going to end up in a weird gay love triangle while fixing up that bike.

do you think he's a top or a bottom? I say definitely bottom

I don't think that they all have evil motives, and I'm not sure how naive they really are. Sheltered from the worst of the outbreak and the human predators is a better description.

I think that the politician really wants to rebuild civilization to what it was, to be the mother of a new country. I'm not so sure how much some of her people want the same (or how many mini-governors there are in their midst).

Even assuming Alexandria is on the up and up, it will take the group a long time to assimilate into normalcy.

I'd want some questions answered before entering Alexandria from a lot of the people...

How long have you been here?
How long were you "out there" before you got here?
What do you think it's currently like "out there"?

Seems like a lot of people need an education on what it's like outside the walls.

I'm trying to figure out what's going to happen. Obviously, the episodes for the remainder of the season can't just be them living their normal lives in Alexandria. Something has to give. I'm thinking either Rick et al. try to overtake the town or the town is attacked by some outside presence and they have to protect themselves or does Rick and the Blonde's husband create a clash among the groups and both parties go at it within the town... I have no clue.

Another good episode. Rick showing he's still got a little pimp juice in him. I thought the ginger army guy and Michonne were going to hook up, that would have been totally out of leftfield.

Buttons fate was tough to watch.

One complaint...the group is getting too big, need to weed out some useless characters that have ran their course.
Who do you propose? I would say:
Sasha
Eugene
Tara
Noah
Just for **** and giggles, only one of Glenn/Maggie

By the way, anyone else find it odd that last two episodes there has been zero appearances of Gabriel? It's like he doesn't even exist. No interview coming into Alexandria, no showing him assimilating into the community, no appearance at the party.

You would think a reverend would be a big deal coming into a community like this which may have a number of believers. Oversight by the writers? Or what is the deal? I mean, I know some of them have gotten minimum screen time these past 2 episodes, but come on.

It is weird, but he'll be big next episode it looks like

Thanks, I just missed the previews for next episode on the early showing. I just caught it a few minutes ago and it sure looks like it. I predict Eugene bites it in the next episode based on those previews.

It looks like the mayor lady just wanted them in for general protection/skill with supply runs. After this episode, I don't see her being worried about a specific outside group as was speculated earlier. She didn't seem overly concerned about having any sort of patrols or lookouts.

somethings still don't add up....

Fence reinforcements are on the "outside".

The quick defense and then avoidance of the clock tower as a lookout. What could they see from there that received such a response?

And the gun that went missing and the 'walker trap'.

there is something going on "outside" those walls and I think the congresswomen knows what it is.

On another topic, I see Daryl being welcomed in as a friend and protector. Keeping him close so he is available when the **** hits the fan. Or the way for those two to become part of the group, a way for them to move away from the Congresswoman.

It certainly is being setup for many different plays, all which seem interesting.

From what I can tell, these people have had no real run ins with bad people. It will be interesting what plot lines they run that differ from the comics. I am betting the next big plot line wont even really start till the finale or next season. I am betting the rest of the season will be them adjusting to their new roles and maybe dealing with the few people the town banished a while back. It will be interesting to find out what the W stands for.
