Walking Dead

I never plan it, but I seem to always end up watching Talking Dead. I find it pretty enjoyable, especially when I don't always have somebody to talk with about the episode afterwards.

I'd watch if it were a half-hour. Football or the girlfriend tends to pull me away. I'd DVR it but I get any questions answered here.

Count me as another who thinks Carol is a goner. While she's responsive for saving the group, her guilty conscience is getting the best of her and she's making a lot of mistakes. Allowing Noah to steal her rifle because she tossed it through the hole in the wall before going through herself. Getting herself injured. Getting hit by the car because she broke rank. Love her (especially compared to comic book Carol), but she's becoming a loose cannon and a danger as a result.

The way this is going I think Carol is the next to go. To me it feels like that is the way the writers are steering the show. She is never going to be 100% right with herself or the group even after saving them and she knows it. Too much baggage with what happened at the prison and with the two girls.

Freebird nailed it.

She'll sacrifice herself for the greater good of the group and then, bingo-bango, bye-bye, Carol.

Yup. Three of us agree so far. She's gone.

I agree. In a way she is a loose cannon, just look how quick she was to point and shoot in the walkway.

I like her character, but she is heading for her demise.

Make that 4! I do think she'll go down in an act of valor. I have a rather irrational dislike for her character... She really bugged me at the beginning of the series and I never quite got over it.

Agree. "She gone." I think this last episode just highlighted everything she has gone through too much. And she is still not ok with herself. Signs point to her saying bye-bye this year.

I sincerely hope you are all wrong. Carol is strong; she's a survivor. I'd much rather have her than Beth.

This. Although I agree its looking like she'll be next. I'd rather have Beth be the one too. Doesn't seem like Maggie cares one way or another anyway about her sister. And I could do without Tyrese. I guess when you think about it both him and Carol are head cases.

I'm going to agree with the masses about Carol. The creator of TWD has stated that he likes to complete the story of a character before he kills them off. As others pointed out, they're seemingly wrapping up Carol's story in this last episode.

I could see Carol dying just to further facilitate Daryl's character. Daryl has to be right on the edge of breaking down. I'd rather Beth dies cause she's a weak, annoying moron, but whatevs.

I guess I don't get the hate for Beth. She has come a long way. I don't see her as weak, she is surviving in that creepy hospital; she was pretty young and inexperienced in the world when it fell apart. I also think Carol is pretty mentally damaged at this point. I don't want either of them to die, and if they feel compelled to kill someone, I would just as soon it be a newer character. If Beth survives, I wonder if she will get involved with the guy from the hospital, is his name Noah (bad at names)?

This. Plus Beth is hot. She stays.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. I really don't give a crap if characters are hot or good-looking regardless of gender. Seems like most of the people rooting for Beth hate Carl...but their characters are developing in very similar ways. The only reason some people want to keep Beth is for the eye-candy factor. I'd rather have interesting characters, and Beth is simply not interesting to me. Granted, she has grown from her first episodes, but she still strikes me as one who will get by on looks, not brains. Sorry, Carver... :)

You're such a Dale.

KC, I haven't really seen Beth use her looks much, although I suppose people may help her because of it. If she did use it, at some point that would be smart though, kind of like that flake Eugene.

It's not so much her using them...it's the fan base demanding she stays because she's "hot", while throwing Carol under the bus. I think it's a "me" thing...I have no problem with people sticking up for her - aside from getting tired of sidestepping all the drool, that is! I just don't think she adds as much as Carol.

I think Carol is dead because it makes the most sense for her character arc (as others have pointed out).

Not sure which is weirder here, the guys who think Beth is “hot” and must live for that reason or KC wanting her dead because the guys think she is “hot”.

FYI, I have never perceived her as “hot”. Wholesome maybe, attractive yes, but not hot is the context used here. She been sort of the milquetoast naïve gal since introduced back at the farm and never cast as hotcakes. I want to see her break out by viciously killing Dawn the Evil Witch of Atlanta.
