Walking Dead

Oh yuck!!! I just realized why Glenn did that!

No thanks, Glenn. I'm good.

Zale's was closed, and Glenn heard Jared supports the Hawkeyes so he's rightly boycotting them. What was he supposed to do? Give the guy a break.

Wedding ring shopping was pretty cool, that's one way to cut out the diamond business parasites!

Zombie Merle was a nice touch.

I thought it was a great finale for him though. People on hear have been saying all season that the show would pit Merle against Daryl in a fight to the death. I just didn't expect it to happen this way. I loved the tragedy in Daryl's face as he kept pushing Merle away because he didn't want to finish him.

It also helps to show how sadistic the Governor is. This is one of the first acts that they have had him do in the show that I feel lives up to the character in the book.

Tough crowd.

But I did think watching Daryl react to seeing zombie Merle was one of the saddest moments of the series. Or maybe I'm just emotional after what happened this afternoon.

I was glad to see zombie-Merle stil have the ****-eyed jaw when he stood up though. It almost hearkened back to Milton's test, in the middle of the season, to see if the dead still had any sense or recognition of those from their life. There was a moment when they showed his eyes that it seemed like he knew.

Yeah I thought that too. I even thought Mearle zombie wasn't like the other ones. It was almost like he didn't want to kill Darryl.

I think he stabbed him a lot part in frustration at him going it alone and not as brothers.

I didn't know what Merle had up his sleeve when he turned up the radio and was getting drunk. At first I thought some weird suicide. Once he started creeping forward in the car it became apparent.

To me it looks like maybe they're just going to abandon the prison and hit the road? The sneak peak on Talking Dead also makes me think maybe they left a trap for Woodbury at the prison. I can't imagine they'd end the season without one of the cast ending the governor though. And they still have to address Andrea's current situation. Seems like a lot for 1 episode.
