Walking Dead

I liked this episode and its getting my interest back. I prefer the episodes where they are somewhere at a fixed location instead of roaming around the woods or driving around back roads.

This episode was great all around. Loved seeing how hard it was for them to be "normal". Ricks transformation and his talk with the leader were just great. Glenn going on the supply run with the cocky amateurs really drove home that these people are weak and that is why they need our crew.

and Carol during her interview pretending she was weak. I wonder if this will play in later and she kicks tail?

she misses her abusing husband so much? I don't think so... she is certainly playing a role right now.

The part in the preview last night when they talk about playing to your weakness, and showing Rick in a uniform. Drove home the point they have a different way of messing with new comers than the previous stops.

Could the "M" on the half zombies be in reference to the M in Monroe? maybe DB son does more outside the walls than Mom knows about or authorizes? is the conflict going to be what is really the nature of these people? And who is in charge? How does our group combine and weed out with these newcomers?

Interesting take so far. I wonder if Darryl will fill the Andrea role this season or if they go a different route.

Wow you're right! I would've sworn that was Kate Mulgrew. After Googling both of them, Kate appears to be much older. I guess STV was longer ago than I thought.

And you fooled me with that "Look at the flowers, Boxster" and I went along.

I wonder what the story is on the 3 people that got kicked out? I have a feeling they may be trouble in the future.

My guess? Without knowing anything about the comic, so I could be completely off. The girl that snuck out still keeps in contact with her group (I would assume The Wolves that carve W on zombie heads - due to the Wolves fight comic book that belonged to her). She went outside to meet her group and let them know the new development (Rick's group arrival at Alexandria). I think it was probably her group that took Rick's gun from that blender and set up that trap. Just a wild guess.

I can't decide if it's this or if Aiden's group is the Wolves when they go on supply runs...

Aiden's group would make sense because:

- they lost 4 people...maybe attacking Noah's community
- they have a well stocked pantry...from attacking Noah's community
- they mentioned their search radius goes out 53 miles now...not sure how far Noah's community was but it was probably about that

But the girl also makes sense...

This is what I was thinking too.

Anybody know what the easter egg was that they kept referring to on Talking Dead?

I never saw where they actually talked about it...

I forgot about that. I think the tall dude from Veep talked too much and they ran out of time:)

Speaking of which, I will say that the guests in this week's Talking Dead episode were the most annoying they've ever had. Alanna Masterson was just kind of awkward and was always rudely interrupting the lady next to her. That dude from Veep also talked way to much. I would have been okay without both of them and just having the other lady on there. They were annoying the **** out of me.

I get the feeling we are seeing the beginning of the end for Rick and his sanity. Remember when Shane shaved his head at the farm? It really showed that he was losing it. I got the same vibe when Rick was shaving his beard.

You must have missed the Marilyn Manson episode.
