Walking Dead

The episode was good, it just feels like a little bit of a letdown after the huge events of the previous 3 this season. But you can't go balls to the walls all the time. I think it was far superior to much of Season 2 and 3 - because the writing on this show has really improved.

I agree with this completely. It just seems so much slower when you go an entire episode and only see a couple main characters. There was actually quite a bit of action in the episode.

Hmmm...why did I think everyone knew that they took off after Beth? Are you sure?

At any rate, I do think Maggie will choose Glenn over Beth every time.
Remember they thought the cannibals were involved. Which also bugs me on the writing that Rick and company didn't even ask them out it before hacking them apart.

I was thinking about it and I think maybe I was remembering the conversation btw Daryl & Rick in the opening "previously on the Walking Dead" just before the show. It was right after they eliminated the claimers, Daryl talked about being with Beth for a while, and following the black car with the white cross. I think I just morphed that into everyone knowing where Carol & Daryl went. Oooops....

I thought Bob told Rick he overheard the cannibals saying they saw Daryl and Carol drive off.

If anyone is curious about a spoiler having to do with beth...

I read somewhere that in one of the upcoming episodes Beth ends up getting bitten by a walker. She then turns into a walker and attacks the lady cop from the hospital. Take it for whats its worth though!

Are you guys messing with me???

All the confusion in the thread was making me confused. Bob overheard them and figured if they didn't realize he was listening, they had no reason to lie. He then told Rick what he'd heard, and Rick made the same assumption. Anyway, I think Rick knows the cannibals have nothing to do with Daryl and Carol being gone right now.

The pacing of this show can be very frustrating; didn't love yesterday's episode but they will string out bad story lines and rush through good ones.

I just wanted to see who was with Darryl when he came out of the woods.

Just watched this weeks episode. My thoughts are that this was a fast forward episode. Carol got 'caught' on purpose because she knew where Beth was. Daryl saying come on out was in reference to finding Beth and rejoining with the group.

Maybe they can all find an easy resolution. Wasn't Rick a police officer in Atlanta? Maybe he knows Dawn and possibly even outranks her? That would be pretty sweet. Just tell her *** to stand down.

Sheriff...or deputy. In a small town outside of Atlanta.

Maybe a symbol of the hospital. Foreshadowing to allow how Daryl and Carol find Beth?

I can buy the hospital - but why a white cross and not a red cross if that was the case?

The one guy (noah or the doc?) said something about "making a deal with the devil." And they are showing up at about the same time that the priest did. Makes you wonder if there isn't some form of a catholic hierarchy (or something that stepped in to the catholic hierarchy) left that is running the hospital (and other things?).
