Im not sure it was the end of the episode. I thought it was during the preview during Talking Dead

I think you're right that the clip of the mystery person feeding the walker a rat was an exclusive preview shown on Talking Dead.

Especially as soon as she didnt say goodbye.

I think we're going to get to know her character a lot more this season. There's a lot of potential depth to her character going all the way back to when she wanted to end things in season 2. They seem to be starting to explore that now.

That is exactly why I like this show so much, the character development. So many people are ticked because it's not non-stop zombie killing and explosions. That's not what makes the show last.

If you want gratuitous zombie violence play one of the mass zombie killing video games. This show is about more than that.

I finally got around to watching the episode this morning. I guess I'm in the minority in that I thought it was pretty good as well, and has me excited for the rest of the season. Personally I thought it was better than the Season 3 finale, which I thought was disappointing.

Did anyone else think that the crazy, dirty woman was some sort of half-sentient zombie when she made her appearance? She looked that messed up.

.

That's exactly what I was thinking right away. Then after I eliminated that possibility I thought she was probably a cannibal. I eventually figured it out but I thought that little mini story was great. During the episode I was more intrested in finding out her story than what the group in the store full of zombies was doing.

I really want to see them interact with more survivor groups. There have to be a bunch of other people out there. I want to see how they are surviving.

I'm also interested to see what people are figuring out about the virus. As annoying as he was at times I wish Milton would have survived. He could have set up a Walker Turbine to pull them away from the prison or thought something else up to help with defenses.

Does anyone know why Woodbury is no longer and option for them? They have made it sound like it would be impossible to go back there. Is it just too big for them to defend without the full governors army?

Seriously, when the hell was this? I watched the entire episode as well and did not see this.

I don't remember seeing it either and I only watched a few minutes of Talking Dead. I usually skip it because I am always worried they will give something away.

I'm really sorry guys. It was at the end of Talking Dead. My brain just attached it to the end of the regular episode. Pretty sure it's going to come to pass at the very beginning of next weeks episode.

Yep, for a minute I thought the zombies learned how to talk. Then for awhile I thought Rick was hallucinating again and the zombie wasn't talking but would attack him soon.

Ooh I didn't think about another hallucination. That would have been a distinct possibility. It would be pretty effed up to come too from your hallucination just in time to get bit on the neck.

This could have been brought up earlier sorry if I missed it. I thought the walkers eyes were different in this episode. They clearly focused 2 different times on the same walker on the fence and his eyes were different then then previous seasons. Other walker eyes were different too. And whats up with the pig? Contaminated food supply? I'm sure it all ties in together.

The kid that died at the end had bloody eyes too. I think it's obvious there's some disease going around that killed the walker (before he was a walker) and that's what killed the kid in the shower (and possibly Violet the pig).

hippityhopp, I actually was thinking that clip with the rat was from the episode too but it was definitely shown during The Talking Dead. It blurred together in my mind as well so I was thinking it was at the end of the episode. The good news is that it's not a huge spoiler because the executive producer on The Talking Dead said that's the first thing we'll see in next week's episode.
