Most would say that we are weakest at the linebacker positions, so this is an important development. I was a little disappointed that we couldn't fill our recruiting class this year - but maybe all will be good by summer.

nope. not John Watts or the other guy mentioned. Im not trying to mess with people. its not like I'm sending a message of impending DOOM. I'm just trying to say that a certain someone might be jumping on the Cyclone bandwagon. No mention of elephants either, but he is a 3* on Rivals. Rated a 5.5

Well, there are 5 3* 5.5 California JUCO LB's on Rivals. 3 have signed LOI's, including Watts. JP Oliver from Feather River CC is one. He is listed 6'0" 220. Matt Taufoou is listed 6'1" 235 from San Mateo College.

Cross reference the 2 unsigned JUCO LB's and the All-American list and the name you get is Matt Taufoou from San Mateo College.

The knock on Taufoou is supposedly height - or lack of. He is listed at 6-1 or 6-0. He was insulted that some pegged him as 5-9. I'll split the difference and go with 5-10 to 5-11. He has a good reputation as a run stopper and big hitter. If he has the wheels to go sideline to sideline and defend the pass, the height thing wouldn't bother me.
