There never was a situation where either Ou or uT leaving was good for them from a football standpoint. It was about the Benjamins in the ESPN superleague. If the superleague get headed off by the rest of college football as it appears it will, they are going to regret the move almost immediately.

The superleague is inevitable. Just a question of whether it will have 24 or 32 teams. And right now ISU is right in the middle of power 5 in terms of money. Iowa is firmly in top 24.
