He did wrestle 97 Kg. If you’re talking about Ashton Honnold. Looks like he went 3-2 in the tournament

Thanks. Yes I'm talking about Ashton Honnold, junior from a small school in SW Iowa. 2 time state champ. ISU is one of the schools he has visited. His grandfather said he narrowed his college choices to 5 and has offers for a full scholarship from 3 of them.

Not trying to disrespect Bo in any way but age is a real factor in his high school success. Hes going to be 20 years old in his freshman year at Iowa

Can’t remember what board I read this on - might’ve been this one or Intermat - but someone asked why Jax was wrestling senior level at the Open and Bo opted for U20, and one of the first comments was something along the lines of “Bo has a brand to protect” and I think that sums it up pretty nicely. Both are 18, will turn 19 this year, with one more year of high school left. After Jax registered at senior level for this, I was surprised that Bo stayed at U20.

That’s a fair take…I’d now say that Jax brand is elite level wrestler and Bo is staying where it’s at. And that is not a shot at Bo.

That doesn’t explain his freestyle success, which is age based.

He’s 18 and and got 3rd at U20. Only loss to a guy who’s an all American that’s spent two years in a college room.
