Update on Jake Knott (He made it!)

I talked with an old aqaintance of mine tonight. Bill Davis.

He would only say that he would love to have Knott on the roster.That he has been impressive.

He did say that if it were up to him....the Eagles would 'find a way' to keep him.

That's a really good read.

Although I think most ISU fans knew Jake wouldn't be a "longshot" if he was healthy. Uphill battle for sure, but he definitely has the talent.

I read all four of those articles . . . good read.

I'm sure it was tough to sit out those games last year, but it was probably the right decision. And even more so once he lands a roster spot :yes:

Looks like Jake survived for now. Eagles have pared down about a dozen guys and Jake's name isn't on the list. They are at 62 now so at least 9 more cuts coming sometime today or tomorrow.

He is projected to make the cut, but you never know until the dust settles.

I did a search earlier on both the Eagles and Panthers projected rosters when pared down to 53 men. Both AJ and Jake are projected to be on their teams when done.
