Uniform Question

It’ll be interesting to see the uniform for the first game of the CJR era, colors and helmet logo. Maybe gold pants and/or good helmets to signify the start of the new era. It might be cool to go with a solid color helmet with no logo at all to define the new beginning, and maybe as a subtle mocking of Penn State.
If we don't already have it in current inventory, it ain't gonna happen next year (especially for the 1st game) as Nike can't turn around custom order changes that quickly

They could; they're just not going to do it for ISU without being paid and ISU won't shell out that kind of money for it.

If Oregon or Ohio State asked for it they'd get it done.

Hope we keep these jerseys as this current look is our best of the modern era IMO. But, we had sweet hoops uniforms under Fred as well, and ISU could not wait to put that era behind them, and now we are stuck with our embarrassing ice cream uniforms with whatever that is on our side panels.

I don't think we've used "gold" since the 60's maybe? Hell, not even sure.

Since the Nike transition in 2003 (and upgrades to various package levels over the years), we have never used gold. Various tones of "yellow", which can differ to the eye based on lighting, what accents are around it, etc.
God I hate the yellow. Had gold in the late 70s.

Nike doesn't want to be in the uniform business anymore.

They've gutted their design department to the point where you'd better be looking two years ahead for anything new.
