Couldn't resist posting this. Some of them are pretty clueless about ISU this year and think it'll be an easy game for them.

One guy even said the "Hoiberg is the type of guy that Alabama would go after for a head coaching job." I guess they missed all the NBA teams interested in him

I'm confused why the hawk fan thinks he can get people in Des Moines to root for UAB.

I like that the fans are confident (in a non dbag way so far), but at the same time it seems like a few of them don't really know much of anything about us.

I love how they equate playing top teams (Wisconsin, Florida, North Carolina, UCLA) as being the same as beating top teams....

Based off of their forum activity, they have more intense basketball fans than some of our southern teams in the conference.. Apparently only two of them have even watched Big 12 basketball this season.

I was just thinking a few hours ago that Hoiberg might be someone that Alabama might go after. He is a hot young coach."

That wasn't a unique thought by that fan. Some idiot sports writer in Alabama floated the Hoiberg to Alabama rumor a few months ago. The angle that writer had though was that he wasn't sure that Alabama would consider Hoiberg because they were better than him.

They know we're watching them and they're watching us. Pretty funny. No Scorpio, I don't think we're going to beat you because you're 19-15. However, UAB lost I believe 3 times to teams that didn't have more than 9 wins all year.

While I am fully confident in our team to win, they have had a habit of overlooking teams this year. hopefully that is still not the case.
