what's everyone think of the new TU football lockers? Herman is definitely getting press.
Just ridiculous. Thats my thought.
Looks like a vending machine. Gonna be really annoying when the jersey gets stuck and you have to buy the helmet just to knock it down.
That's just way too excessive
And there's still a decent shot we beat them in Ames.
Lots of money translates to lots of bling - brings in the easily impressed, doesn't necessarily translate to product on the field...or court (coughcoughKUcoughcough).
Instead of "This is Texas" for the catch phrase, I think it really should read "This is Excess".
Based on what he did at Houston in a very short time Herman has a chance to make them relevant again...BUT hasn't part of their problem been an underachieving, entitled mentality? Not sure how a tricked out locker helps with the entitled part. Guess we'll find out.
Just play this song while reading this thread:
I do think that Herman is a no-******** guy. He will have them winning and respectable.
I think that money is well past the point of diminishing returns.
I think the fact that they had to go with such a bare bones, budget oriented look just solidifies the fact that there isn't enough money in college sports to pay the athletes.
Fugly is all I can say about that.
Just thinking of better uses of all that money in this world, but I suppose that is the same with most things related to sports excesses.
This is the stuff you buy when you have too much money.
This is exactly why I'm a clone fan.
Perfect way to land narcissistic football players who put "me" first?
Company manufacturer sales video giving features and benefits. Gotta admit. This has got to be a good business. Major universities tripping over each other in a race to see who can find the next "gotta have it, now". (Remember how important video scoreboards were way back, last year.)
