Yes McDonald will be playing safety. Will McD coming back to play safety?

Yes McDonald will be playing safety, LB and DE all at the same time. Then QB and WR on offense at the same time. Revolutionary.
How many McDs do we have? People seem to forget the second McD we have.FIFY
Is there a limit to the number of "walk ons" per school? They still have scholarship limits and will lose transfers themselves that non-blue bloods can take advantage of.
It is called trust the process! The problem is the players no longer trust the process. With 19 starters returning this year the best we could do is 7-5. Coaching was a major cause of poor play. Next year will be a disaster. What is going on? We have had a lot lately! Is this just the world of college football today? Or is there something more within Iowa state that we should be worried about?
Covid year was not kind to my BMI, but I trust the processI'm a 38 yo alum, that at one point ran a 5.6 40. I'm 6'1", w/ a 3-12" vertical depending on humidity levels, sneaky arm length and I'd first and foremost thank my God for this opportunity.
I'm blessed to announce I'm the new starting safety for the Iowa State Cyclones. #wininthedark #keepsawingwood

While I agree with NIL and transfer portal I also saw this coming as an overall negative for ISU. By the time the NCAA or another regulatory body gets around to level the playing field schools are going to get decimated and I'm afraid ISU is one of them.Yeah, players can go somewhere else to play if they want. What a travesty.
The transfer portal taketh away, and the transfer portal will giveth.

Yeah, that might happen. The playing field wasn't close to being level before. It remain to be seen if it becomes even more tilted, or not. My guess is it doesn't change that much for anyone as far as the pecking order for recruits goes. I could be wrong though. While I agree with NIL and transfer portal I also saw this coming as an overall negative for ISU. That's called swinging. Get with the times already.
You are something else. He used it as an example because BYU has already done it. Get out of this conversation. It’s clearly over your head.Yeah, they can. I don't see boosters putting up much money for players that never see the field long term. I could be wrong though.
Are Alabama boosters going to pay good money for 30-40 walk-ons that never play? There is still a limited number of players that will see the field. Maybe they will, but I have my doubts.
I know, just being a smart rear.It was a joke saying Will will play all those positions. But yes Craig is forgotten a lot of times.
Something turned this team into a 7-5 also ran. Maybe this is a housecleaning.
I’m gonna need to see some proof that safeties are making big money on NIL deals before I believe it. I know about the O-lineman deal at Texa$ and that one stinks to high heaven. I seriously doubt those will become the norm after all of this gets ironed out.$$$$$$$$. NIL. All but about 10-15 programs are about to become farm teams.
I don't envision Bama paying for a bunch of backups but I do see them using walk ons as a way to fill holes in their roster by taking starters from schools like ISU and they don't even need to worry about a scholarship limit.Yeah, they can.
