Guys get a room. Stop monopolizing the thread for your lovers spat. Just take it offline and DM each other.
OR..... I could have just said this. Ha! Who else is looking to get to a P4 school from a G5 that we want to come to ISU now? Anyone...

Here is his exact quote
OK, it's fine. Now time out kids. We are all Cyclones and are bickering about things we probably cannot control. And there are bigger things.

Honestly, I am more concerned about my physical and mental health. No need to go into specifics. First is good, second is so-so. I'm more concerned about our country, war, etc.

NIL is far down my list.

Definitely not. No, not too soon. I don't think. LOL

Got me to thinking, is it Queen Anne’s lace or poisonous Hemlock?

And why would you want to squeeze a drink/juice from the hemlock? Oh lets have some of this on hand, just in case anyone want to commit suicide.
Drinking it was not his choice, just like the needle isn't the choice of deathrow inmates.

I don't mind talking about Socrates, since this thread has already gone in an awkward direction.

“The unexamined life is not worth living.” -Socrates (probably after his death sentence).

I wonder if they had a 'menu' of death choices during Socrates time, besides hemlock? I couldn't find anything on that.

More the merrier & let the competition lead to improvement. He's a more mature player & hopefully his strength matches his size & even in a down year maybe it was more the new coaching staff showing loyalty to new players being brought in, so if the young fella wants to buy in for a couple years, give it his all & improve, then let the chips fall where they may. Plus if Clanton wants him, I want him. Hoping for a late add hit, like Josh Knipfel was out of Iowa Western.

I’ll be glad when this thread actually gets back to player news…
Hey, we’re Cyclone Fanatics. Going off on Beotch slapping fights are our prerogatives .;)

How are the roads, conditions in central Iowa? Looks like you got about 6 inches, snow has stopped, but winds still strong at 25 mph or so?

Here in southern MO at the moment, it's about 28-28 d, 20 mph winds, light snow, but nothing really accumulated (less than .25 inch) and not much more expected. Had a lot of rain yesterday.

ISU doesn’t have the deep NIL pockets other universities have, which is why our coaches have to take a different approach to recruiting.

Plus, I think recruiting kids with high character (who aren’t putting an emphasis on NIL money amongst other things), bodes well for a strong culture.

Emphasizing someone's own NIL options is not a lack of character. That's a weirdly old-fashioned take.

Roads aren't great but drivable. 9 inches of snow in Ames. Wind gusts were supposed to get up to 40 mph.
