TRANSCRIPT: Matt Campbell at Big 12 Media Days

Excellent take ... this is exactly what I was thinking. Something has changed with CMC.
He has more than proven that he’s not the type of person to go back on his word. And there’s no way he’s not landing the kids he’s landing in this class without committing to them that he’s going to be around. You people need to chill the **** out.

"chill the 'xxxx out?" Nice temper tantrum about another person's opinion?

Calmly Telling someone who’s panicking about Campbell leaving because he didn’t say “I love Iowa state” to chill isn’t particularly a temper tantrum….
In your opinion . . . dismissing other people's legitimate concerns and then using profanity to shut that discussion down? Some of us have been around Cyclone sports for a long time to have formed a sense of "nuance" when it comes to coach talk. I attended ISU in the early 70s and saw 2 great coaches depart who would have changed our football culture forever if they would have stayed. Just FYI

It’s not a legitimate concern. There is nothing in the history of the person Campbell has shown us he is to believe that the shoe is going to drop and he’s going to up and leave.

FIFY.

And FWIW, Dexter Green was the Cyclone who first caught my attention, I watched Woody punch a Clemson player, survived Donnie Duncan as a student—and was in the Great Hall when Criner was introduced.
