I do not know a lot about the Rockets. From ESPN stats I can see that they have been pretty productive on offense, and giving up a lot of points on defense. They have a couple of running backs with gaudy YPC averages. In their last game they had 3 TOs and only had 3 points a few minutes into the 4th quarter, so it is hard to tell what was going on there. Toledo appears to be okay at defending the rush and pretty bad against the pass. Hard to tell if teams are just not bothering to run against them because they are so bad against the pass.

We are only -5 at home vs a MAC team that has lost their starting QB and best DL for the season.

Theoretically this is a bad matchup for ISU. I think ISU would be better served against teams with good defenses and bad offenses (see Iowa)

That said, the word theoretically applies here because Toledo is a MAC team and has some injuries to key positions that hurt what was already not much depth.

Well if you're playing that game, we've lost 3 of our top 6 receivers.

You would be miserable if we were good.
Not true. If you look at my blog (i have stopped writing now) to the preseason predictions I have been extremely high on the cyclones. Sadly I have been wrong. No development during this regime. I am at a point where I have zero hopes for us winning games this season. I could not even take any pleasure in beating Iowa. I sure hope we can win against Toledo and KU but I would not be surprised if we lost those games either. Just the way things have fallen with this regime.

^^^^This is spot on^^^^

I do think the injuries will cost Toledo though, and with that in mind we cover and win by ten: 27-17.

So you had expectations that this team would be better than any national publication said and now that the team is not living up to those expectations you are mad at the regime? Perhaps you should be realistic in your expectations next time.

But do people living in Toledo know that their name hasn't travelled very well? And does anybody in Ohio dream of that Spanish citidel?

I did not do one for this season. My expectations were for 4-5 wins, not losing for a second season in a row to an FCS school. Not to mention being outmatched by said FCS school. In case you have not noticed this is an issues. Teams at the FCS level are more physical, disciplined and stronger than ISU, this is not good.

You no longer think that we will get 4-5 wins? I would really like to know what you had our predicted record at after the OSU game.

Have you watched a Kansas game this year? If you have, you must already have one foot over the ledge on cyclone football, because that program is worse than spaghetti sauce you leave in the fridge for far too long.
