I am waiting for wisdom from the usual suspects.

You are fantasizing if you think anybody is going to defend the indefensible.

I stay by what I said about last year -- plenty of people did get unreasonable about their expectations come late January, and last year had enough success to justify itself despite some of the disappointing home losses and the loss to OSU.

I have been consistent in saying "wait and see, give this year a chance," too. Let's not bury them until we see how they do. Oh, yep, turns out they suck.

This is just ******* awful. This year is not working at all.

I agree. I was being sarcastic.

Edit. Although I have been surprised by some before.

I guarantee that Pollard does not want to go back to the way things were when I was a kid in the 70's. We never worried about having tickets to games. We just drove to Ames, bought tickets at the booth and sat pretty much anywhere you wanted to.

Losing a fan base that has been as loyal and patient as ISU fans have been should spell the end for any coach.

Sneaky Prohm drops in Halliburton name multiple times in the press conference. Saying the loss happened because we were missing him.

Bruh you are P5 team at home against a 28 point underdog who has 1 win so far. You should be able to beat those teams if your entire starting five is hurt, but you have no idea hot to coach, so it does not matter.

But there is to much money left, So he definitely gets another year to bury this program even deeper.

Tonight begins the Prohm era of apathy where FINALLY even the average/optimistic fans question contributing money to a sh*t product. Apathy is a coach killer.
I hope they weren't planning on selling a lot of ESPN+ subscriptions. The product on the floor so far this year should have pretty much killed any momentum there.
