I hope that one day that turns out to be a massive mistake for them. It may not seem likely right now but things can change quickly in the college athletics landscape.
My thoughts:
Colorado.....ehh, good luck with that.

Unfortunately I think it will work out for Nebraska. Colorado on the other hand just quadrupled their travel expenses.
Out with the chaff. This is why we live in a free country so everyone can do what they want to do. I have a feeling that this will be looked back as a very good day for Iowa State University and our 10 team league.
Everyone went to the "brink" to work a better deal for themselves and maybe everyone did get a better deal but it sure was scary looking over the edge of that "brink" for a while. I think that even Texas was a bit weak in the knees at several points of the reorganization.
We are going to be so glad that Nebraska is gone. I almost feel sorry for the Hawks.
Looking forward to playing you guys and the KS schools more often. Still kinda angry at mizzou for being stupid and putting all 5 of us at risk but looking forward to playing them more often too. It should tie the league together more as the SWC and B12N schools never had very frequent play to glue everyone together.

Want to be a big dog then play the big dogs more often also it will help with recruiting. I think the league is better now then before. Good luck Iowa dealing with the massive ego of Nebraska. Sorry to see the conference break up. I don't have any particular gripe with Colorado, but it was pretty nauseating to see poor little Nebraska portray itself as the victim in this whole thing. Oh boo hoo, big mean old Texas is taking all the money and power. So naturally it was hugely gratifying to see Nebraska stripped of its AAU status recently.
Other than the loss of tradition and a tougher top-to-bottom schedule, it's hard to say this is a real negative for ISU. We're making more money and sharing it with fewer schools than before.
And who would have thought 13 months ago that Dan Beebe would still be employed, much less come out of this in a much stronger position than he had ever been?
I absolutely agree, get rid of Mizzou and bring in BYU and you would have a much stronger league....
btw theirs a rumor floating around that Mizzou is still talking to the little 12 conf aka big 10 about admission and how badly they want out of the texas ten...
I say throw the bums and leeches from mizzou out and then we'll see how high and mighty they are when they dont have a pot to P*** in or a Place to Throw It !!!!!!!!!!!!
I highly doubt this. Mizzou has rubbed the Big 12 and the Big 10 the wrong way. Their best option if they wanted out now is the SEC.

In honor of Nebraska leaving the Big XII (Conference of Champions) it is my pleasure to post this video to keep the memory of Fusker fans alive. Darn, now I can't make fun of the Big Ten for not being able to count, because ISU is now part of another conference that can't count. I still find it a little funny that the Big Ten now has 12 schools and the Big 12 now has 10 schools.
