The Deion Sanders thread

Yes, but the NFL has always had guys with a less than ideal moral compass. I dont rememer people this upset when Tyreke Hill punched his pregnant girlfriend in the stomach? Or when Kareem Hunt kicked a woman in the face?

Deion's main issue seems to be arrogance and Shadeuer is guilty of the crime of being overhyped. Such criminals!
No one is supporting those guys either. Just because people aren't saying anything doesn't mean there is support for those guys. What they did was awful, but they also keep their mouth shut and can play. Dion and his spawn always run their mouths and, speaking for myself here, I love seeing loud mouths get theirs.

I guess you don't remember very well or you're just in recency bias.
I really think this is most of it.

As for why it doesn’t continue to be talked about: unless they commit more crimes, play terribly, or get injured, what else is there to talk about? The conversation is basically that the player did something terrible, but because they are good at football nothing will happen. With Dion and his son, there’s probably going to be new douchey things they’ve done or new things to laugh at.

And sports is primarily entertainment. People can continue to talk about the terrible things players have done. But it can be depressing and intimately leads to depressing conversations about serious topics. It’s a lot more fun to talk about Dion and his son who are basically just jerks.

Life is depressing when you actually talk about the substance. People are literally distracting themselves from that every moment of every day.

And in last year's magical 9-4 season they didn't have to play any of the top 3 teams in the Big 12. Oh, and they got curb stomped by Nebraska, who went 3-6 in the B1G.

But yeah, retiring his number makes perfect sense. Lol. I'm actually surprised SS is letting his dad do this. I'd be embarrassed as hell knowing I didn't deserve it.
LOL He’s a Sanders they believe their own hype.

Oh gosh your broken hearted we aren't worshipping one guy who was good at FB and his mediocre and seem to be fairly sh*tty human beings sons. All bow down to the alter of sports. Nah that's not for me.

It's been going on for a long time now, but when did openly bragging about how much money you make become a cool thing to do? It's so cringey.
I think a lot of is athletes, movie people, music people all get "rentals" to promote the jeweler/dress designer.
There was a dad last night interviewed that specifically gave a shoutout to a certain jeweler.

But yeah, some of these guys are begging to get robbed, unfortunately.
