The Costco Thread

SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stop giving away all the Ankeny Costco hacks!
Everyone should keep going to the West Des Moines one.

Eventually the Ankeny store will be busy as hell too but it takes a few years for a new Costco to build up memberships. The Coralville location took 3-5 years before it got busy.

Also, Costco's Chocolate Chunk cookies are addicting.

Would you say they bring the boom?

A big thing for me recently was light bulbs. Our house has a ton of recessed LED lights. A 6 pack replacement on Amazon was $66. A 4 pack at Costco was $20. I bought 3 of the 4 packs.

Also - clothes. A month or so back I asked my wife to look for gym shorts for me, and she found these Puma shorts that are incredible and I now own 8 pairs of (I WFH and I wear them).
LOL I bought a pair in every color. They were like $12.
C'mon you guys, you know the drill here: Pics or "I don't believe you."
Plus, Father's Day is not far off and I probably should shop before all store shelves are empty.

Heggies makes a fine frozen pizza. Not sure if they're available at all locations but the Ankeny Costco has them, and I usually will pick up a box to keep in the deep freeze.

I’m deep in to the Costco clothing ecosphere. They almost always have one thing I’m interested in every time I go.

Motor City Pizza Company can be found in the Ankeny one and its a good frozen pizza if you enjoy pan crust.

Raspberries, blueberries and strawberries (haven't had luck with grapes very often though)
Meat and seafood
One of their rotisserie chickens feeds my family of three with leftovers for another meal
Milk
Lawn bags
TP and paper towels
Kitty litter
Snacks (chips, nuts, etc)

Also, the sea salt caramels and seasonal peppermint bark are dangerous.

The one I frequent doesn't sell liquor, but one closer to my work does. If I need to stock up, their prices make it hard to pass up.
