Texas, Oklahoma, and $EC? Thoughts?

I think if those two turds leave, ISU better try to get into Big 10. I just think it would be a wonderful move from a coaching perspective.

Since Big10 leadership can't get out their own way (see 'we can't play during Covid') it will all come down to what Ohio St. wants. Both from a follow the SEC or who can move to the B10 perspective.
So you'll have to keep us informed on what is being said in the great state of Ohio.

well, yes, that’s what we’d like. But they don’t want or need us. That’s why we are ******.

I don't think adding ucf, cinci etc to Big 12 will appeal to this football staff if the turds leave. If that happens, ISU needs to aggressively attempt to get into the Big 10. Just my opinion.

Where has this been confirmed?

obviously it hasn’t. But let’s just assume Jamie will work like hell to get us into the big 10. He can’t will it to happen.

no one with a brain thinks that the big 10 isn’t the best option. And probably the only option (save nothing changes) that gives us a fighting chance to keep Campbell.

Are you sure the Big 10 would not want ISU? They will need to add schools if $EC goes to 16 teams. Similiar type academic schools and basketball [most years] and now football have been decent.

I hope like hell they would want us. But we don’t add any media markets and Iowa would fight against it.

the big 10 is the first choice. I don’t think it’s realistic but I also know they’ll try to get in.

Seems bizarre that OU and UT would want to open their recruiting fields to the rest of the SEC. I know that aTm already did that a little, but this is a really dumb f'ng move all around for OU. Seems like they've just turned themselves into Nebraska.

OUs brand has never been hotter. Kyler and Baker Lamb just to name a few. I’d argue opening up Georgia and Florida offers more gains that’ll losing some ground in texas

Just another step by the CF elites to maintain their gated community. We all want to watch Clemson, Alabama, Ohio State, and Notre Dame compete for the championship every year, right? It’s exhilarating.

Still gonna disagree. Strongly. I think a lot of you are A. Overestimating Hawkeye dislike and arrogance, and B. Vastly underestimating the impact of the BoR and the State Legislature…

…should the situation come to pass.
Oklahoma and UT(rivals) are working together to join the SEC. Iowa would be short sighted to try and block isu.

Not really. Hayden Fry's dogma is still in place. In order to compete, ISU must be demeaned and destroyed in any way possible.

Please stop with the 'media markets'. That's such antiquated thinking.
