Won't be outdoor...the city wants another dome so they can hold other events there so it's most likely going to be a dome...
The Vikings want at least a retractable roof (they'd prefer outdoor) but that jacks the cost up and the city/state don't (or at least didn't) want to fund it...
I'm hoping they can figure out a way to get a retractable roof...
I know you're kidding (I hope), but move up with the 3rd pick? I just hope we don't trade it away. Draft Kalil or Blackmon and I'm one happy dude.
Draft Blackmon and we'll be back to the Randy Moss glory days... on offense. Our secondary needs to just start over.

I'd like to see them acquire a WR through free agency, maybe someone like Bowe or Jackson, and then get Kalil at #3.
Jackson would be a risky move. I'd love to have him if we wanted to show up and play.
Definitely need some secondary help. Stupid injuries. Drafting linemen is no fun but we all know it's a safe and good pick if we take Kalil. But thinking about Blackmon having some monster seasons with us sounds amazing. It's just that Ponder needs time to be able to throw it.
I agree that Jackson is risky but he's a good player. I think Stevie Johnson could be added to this list although I think he'll be resigned.
Kalil may go #2. If so, I'd say we go Blackmon. If Kalil is on the board it'd be hard to pass up.
There's always the possibility of someone trading up to #2 as well. The Redskins probably want RG3 and I hope we don't trade our pick but they could always trade with the Rams.
i agree, blackmon has to be the choice. ol is a risk, blackmons a playmaker. anyone remember tony boselli? robert gallery? lets sign some proven ol
I would have preferred the Arden Hills site, but as a Vikings fan in Los Angeles I am glad that it does not look like they are coming here. Of course there is plenty of time for this to be screwed up in one way or another but I will try and remain positive. As for drafting Blackmon, it would be hard for Ponder to throw him deep balls from his off his back. The Vikings need to shore up the O-line to keep the QBs healthy. I hope they get Kalil or trade down and grab the #2 or #3 OT and get more picks. Just too many holes to mention.
Yeah, that's the problem with drafting Blackmon. Obviously it wouldn't be a wasted pick but Ponder's gotta have protection to make him effective.
Why would the Redskins want to go after RG3? He doesn't fit their preferred QB profile: has beens and never will bes. Thus they're more likely to break the bank going after Peyton Manning than wasting a draft pick on RG3...
I don't have a solid answer and I don't wanna argue with you so disregard what I said. Basically just looking at what some experts have said. That's all.
Those tax dollars will be more than made up in the long run by the business generated from that team.
Losing the team would be a much bigger economic blow to the region than a few more taxes.
