Informative and I agree probably unlikely, but stranger things have happened.

I think discussing the potential situation in the backcourt (most notably if Hunter will still be in Ames and/or if the upperclassmen guards want to take their extra COVID season) when Lipsey arrives counts.
And yes, I know you were being facetious.
We aren't reading every thread, so people generally have to keep it on topic themselves.

In this case someone politely asked to stay on topic and was ignored, so that leads us to asking again.
This thread in particular got way off topic, specifically since former coaches don't have any relation to a future player. Also complaining about former coaches isn't a good look if players or family come to look at what's being said about them.

This one didn’t just wander off topic, it took a side trip into Europe, through Africa and on into Central Asia.
I don’t mind if there are a few side comments off topic, but when something becomes a full blown discussion of it’s own that goes on and on, that has nothing to do with the original topic, that’s just ridiculous.

Agreed. But not for the reasons I suspect you would suggest. Regardless, perhaps new Tamin Lipsey news will arise. I, for one, look forward to that.

I could be wrong but I think Hunter benefits form atleast 3 years here. If he gets drafted highly and fairly quickly, after his first year of two here, who could blame him though.
When players leave early it should be a positive recruiting wise as it shows we are a viable path to the draft. Unfortunately that hasn't been our history.
