Statement from Big 12 Conference

I have an honest question -- does the replay official in the booth have the ability (both practically and per rules) to use the ESPN cameras, or only the "in-house" (predetermined) cameras as mentioned?

Yeah, the ball just magically appeared in JG's hands, 10 yards downfield.

If forward progress was the call, the whistle should have blown which it didn't and they weren't supposed to review it, since they couldn't say that, they have to say he was down, but he wasn't down...so don't say anything other than you reviewed the calls and have no public comment. Also don't say anything at all until you are ready to deal with Mike Davis, but since you aren't likely to deal with that, your conference becomes more of a joke. Sure we get a lot of money, more ham anywhere else, but that statement is an insult to Iowa state fans.

They use the TV broadcast angles when possible. Not the in house video on the jumbotron.

Thinking the Big 12 would actually do something is like asking the chief of police, who is paid by the mafia, to go arrest the head of the mafia.

All it takes is a working brain... when the runner was down, George was already running with the ball! What a load of BS.

@Jknott20: @Big12Conference they must have missed @JGeorge52 with possession of the ball 5 yards downfield when the runner went down.
