I know it's dumb, but I left the room when the trailer started. Really trying to avoid too many spoilers.
I bet there's some Mandalorian fans that didn't watch Book of Boba that are wondering why Grogu is back with Mando.
Just like in comics. See Issue X of another series to find out what happened. BoBF will probably see a bump over the next month or so, at least the last 2 episodes.

Yeah I think I might have to go back, I barely remember what happened there.

Honestly the side story with Grogu in that show was better than the primary story lol

I honestly didn't watch it until Mando was on it. I watched the first episode, didn't vibe for me, so then when I found out it was just basically Mando season 2.5 I went back and started on episode 3 or 4 when they show up.

You didn't miss much. It hurt. The moment that Fett's sidekick had to explain to him the concept of using money to hire soldiers I was out. How does one of the galaxy's most famous bounty hunters not understand hired hands?

None of his motivations ever made any sense. I'm a badass bounty hunter back from the dead, but now I want to run a criminal empire on a backwater planet. Why?

Yeah, I have no idea what they were trying to do with that show. Disney has been hell bent on doing something with Boba Fett for years so they got that out of the way I guess. We got Mando season 2.5 out of it, and we saw Boba Fett riding a rancor, which I'm pretty sure is a scenario I played out with my toys when I was a kid, so it wasn't all bad.

Legends (non-canon now) had a pretty compelling story arc for boba

Yep, but it feels like they are co-opting some of that for Mando., which is fine.

When they made Fett a clone, there felt like a whole bunch of story arcs they could have ran with, but instead chose this. I've said this before, but a show that covered his time post-Clone Wars to pre-ESB that showed how he became a badass bounty hunter would have been cooler. Hell, Daniel Logan, the actor who played young Boba in ATOC looks perfect for the role.

I read some of the legends stuff, but really all I remember with him was escaping from the Sarlacc. I also remember another short story where he hunts down Han when they are both old men. One was Tales of Jabbas Palace and I think the other was from Tales of the Bounty Hunters or something like that. I've forgotten a lot of those books that I read.

I've never been a fan of what they did with the character in the movies going back to the prequels. Each time they added to his lore they made him less mysterious and less of a bad guy, which I have never liked myself.

The Anthology story with him and Han ended up being discarded as the books started incorporating prequel Trilogy stuff like him beng a clone. They kept the Sarlaac escape however. At some point, he became the Mandalore but was starting to literally fall apart as his clone genetics were breaking down partly due to the damage from his time in the Sarlaac pit. He tracked down some clones that somehow managed to live long past their expiration date who had found a fix for their DNA. End up helping the Solos and the New Republic in some war after that.

This week's episode was ok, some interesting parts. Last few episodes seem kind of the same format. Get a mission, say no, then do the mission. I hope we start to see some overarching objective or something soon.

I've only seen through Episode 4 of Bad Batch, and I've been enjoying it so far for the most part. I thought Episode 3 was the best episode with how dark they went with things, but I also had fun with the racing in episode 4. I don't care what anyone says, I was a big fan of all the pod racing stuff from The Phantom Menace and episode 4 hit some of those same cords for me. My guess is not everyone feels the same as me. I also have super fond memories of playing the N64 Episode 1 racer game for hours on end when I was a kid, so that also played its part in me loving pod racing.

I won't give you any spoilers but they tease some stuff - you'll know what I'm talking about when you watch it. Curious to hear your thoughts after you watch it.

So far this season's main plot point for me was Cody going AWOL.

EP 5 was a pretty wheel spinney episode it you ask me. Not really sure what they are going for this season other than adventure of the week.

This week’s episode could have been a Dora the Explorer episode if Diego and Boots had some blasters. Sure hope they end up going somewhere interesting with this series.

Haven't had to watch Dora yet, but I got more of a Indiana jones vibe, there were a lot of references.
