Really didn't like the first episode, but at least the 2nd episode was a decent improvement. I'm still not all in on this thing, but at least it is getting better.

The car chase in episode 3 was so intentionally cheesy, I laughed out loud.. I had a big goofy grin on my face throughout the entire scene.
The show definitely doesn't take itself too seriously, and that's fine. It took me a while to get it.

That’s kind of been the case with these type of series so far. Kind of confusing and wondering what’s going on, only for it to all come together at the end.
Ep. 3 of BOBF was pretty lame, if you ask me.
Need to pick up the pace. I was expecting Boba to be the baddest Bounty Hunter there is. So far he's a tame middle aged manager.

Apparently Boba's enforcers are a cross between a 70's biker gang and the power rangers.
yeah I don’t know, I’ve seen about every organized crime movie/series and I like it gritty and dark.
To me this should have felt more dark/noir than Mando where the humor/cute/action balance matched original trilogy. It’s coming off as more bright/clean than I thought the aesthetic would be. Parts of Rogue1 and Empire are closest things on film to what I’m thinking, the parts with the mandalorian covert enclave and original ROTJ Jabba’s palace too.

I don't disagree with you. I was hoping for that as well. But this just isn't that kind of show, and it's not trying to be. If people are expecting it to be that, they're not going to be happy.
It's basically a live/real people version of the Clone Wars/Rebels cartoons. I freaking love it. It's fun.

And yet, feels even more cartoony than those did. The gang was almost Saturday morning cartoon silly. The shiny bikes just felt weird, almost like it was a merchandise decision to create something that would pop on a store shelf.

Yeah, it felt like something you'd see in a 90s cop show.
I get why they're doing it, though. The Mandalorian was a merchandising gold mine. Kids ate that **** up, and Baby Yoda/Grogu was about as non-dark and gritty as you can get. My son is 7 and the Mandalorian has been his gateway to star wars fandom. He was aware of Star Wars before, but Mando got him all in on the universe.
With Boba Fett, it feels like they're trying to hit that same note.
I had hoped it would be aimed at a little more mature audience, but that's not the direction they went.
The conclusion I had at the end of ep3 was this show is targeted at families, which in reality is what Star Wars started as. I agree with Janny that the transition from stone cold killer to a crime boss who rules with compassion is a bit of a change. I guess we're getting some of that transition through his Sand People training, but maybe he just had a life epiphany while he was in the Sarlacc belly.
I will say ep3 had the most Star Wars feeling of just about any Disney+ Star Wars offering so far. The swipe fades, the camera work, and some of the humor definitely fits into the universe.

I can't believe she's almost 60 years old. She doesn't look it at all
I'm probably most disappointed in all the action of the entire series, especially for being directed by Robert Rodriguez for episode 1 and 3, which have been the most disappointing episodes on that front. All of it seems slow, poorly choregraphed and old-manny.
Feels like he's trying to do too much Spy Kids 3-D and not enough Desperado. The Ringer even said the moped gang feels like it was right out of Spy Kids.
