Anybody know if there will be concessions open? If not can we bring things to drink in with us? Not beer obviously. Anything else we need to know before deciding to come up on Saturday?

I don't remember them allowing us to bring in drinks in the past.
If they're smart, they better keep the coffee pots and hot chocolate rolling.

Doubt it, and I am sure you can bring water in and snacks

We are hoping to tailgate before the Spring game. S-3 lot. Feel free to stop by for a burger, hot dog, beer, or coffee. Look for the 40 foot flagpole.

Thanks @Cycsk Not feeling well tonight so haven't decided if I'm going yet. If it's really cold I think it would be irresponsible to go at this point.

I'll find out. If so, I'll post about where we end up. Or just look for the white trailer and flagpole.

I was hoping to use an S-lot, but most of them have lots of student cars still parked there.

I

Isn’t that lot closed tomorrow?
From the Cyclones email we got this week.

The 2023 Iowa State football spring game will kick off at Jack Trice Stadium at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 22.
The game will be free to fans.
Free parking is available in lots A1 – A4, B1 – B6, C1 – C3, S2 – S8 and lot G6. Click here to see the football parking map.

I drove by today and most of the S-lots were mostly filled with student cars (and no "No Parking Overnight" signs). We may end up in B-6 or A-4. I'll post early in the morning once we get there. Thanks for the info.

Update: We are in S-3.

Anyone know if John and Eric will do a radio play by play as they've done in past spring games?

John said he, Eric and Ryan will do a Spring recap CyCast sometime afterwards, but no live broadcast.
Thanks for the answer. I'll be at the game, but I was hoping it would be a live broadcast so I could listen while watching.

Not that I would necessarily learn anything but if I was able to go today, I would be mostly keyed in on watching the O line.
