I think he was trying to imitate Patrick Surtain talking about Riley Moss who is the first white corner in the NFL in years. Agreed in 2024 a bit surprised a major network doesn't just steer clear of race... but...lets not take life too seriously here.
I don't think anyone is offended. The bit is just awkward and not funny.

Edit: Never mind. Clearly some people are offended.

Very odd, cringe, and lazy....would say the same if it was a Hawk. And also replayed it on their podcast today, so clearly Murph and Downs thought it was worth a broader audience.

Also super disrespectful to Carson.

Agreed. It just kept getting more awkward...

It was meant to be awkward, and I'm sure Andy wrote it. It's satire and comedy and actually brave and edgy. It makes fun of stereotypes and society today where race gets tied into everything. I can't believe the knee-jerk shallow reaction of so many here. Has anyone ever watched SNL?

The fact that this thread has reared its ugly head again tells me some here have not learned their lesson.
While I agree, this came up on my Facebook from WHO. I am no longer seeing the post so I’m guessing they got some comments and scrubbed it.

I suppose we all find our humor in different places.

Well, it is no wonder he hasn't made it to New York or LA, his narrative is very poor and his edgy take is purely provincial, and yes I have watched SNL. His satire belongs in the landfill!

If that’s truly the case, and I give you credit for saying it is, his delivery absolutely does not portray that focus. Reminded me why I don’t listen to this show.

I thought it was funny and I bet Carson found it funny. The way he started to say a word and then switched the word was perfect. The joke was news guys are not supposed to discuss that stuff and so he didn’t, yet did. Pretty clever?
Do you know Carson or his teammates in the RB room? As CMC says, they are 18/-/21 year olds. Possible distraction?

And no, not clever!

If you think this will be any kind of distraction to the players I don't think you are giving the players or the program CMC has built enough credit.
Ok, you win on that, but they still should not have to bear a local media nutcase!
