I think the only reason to keep him around at this point is if we can't afford to get rid of him. Can we afford to get rid of him?

1. Its proven now he isnt a good HC
2. How many more years of patience does the fanbase need to have?
3. He needs to go. The sooner the better.
I did. He's a good coach and a good man who has had some horrible luck and made some decisions he probably wishes he had back. I think he can turn it around with patience from the fan base (a big if) and I seriously doubt that we can find better for football. It's an indictment of sports society and not on Rhoads that everybody has turned on him after just as many were up in arms because he wouldn't say a few short years ago that he was going to retire here because he said that he likely wouldn't control that (which may turn out to be prophetic).

1) 99% of the people here would have lynched you for suggesting that after his first couple of years.
2) At ISU? I think the patience of Job would suffice for football. What is your realistic expectation for the football team's average record? Because it bears mentioning that every other fanbase in our conference likely has the same or higher expectations (minus MAYBE KU) so at the end of the year there are always going to be some ticked off fan bases. If you weren't a big fan of Rhoads in years 1 and 2 then I can see your frustration, but otherwise it's pretty hypocritical in my opinion to break out the pitchforks now if you were one upset that he wouldn't say he was going to retire here when asked.
3) That's your opinion. If it happens I hope we get a good replacement and will support whoever the coach is if they are a good coach and a good representative of ISU.
94% of Cyclone Nation believes that Paul Rhoads will be fired by the end of the year at least.
Jamie Pollard will not listen.
I truly believe CPR will be back next year. :sad:94% of Cyclone Nation believes that Paul Rhoads will be fired by the end of the year at least.

I don't give a **** if he's a good guy. He's job is to win. He clearly can't do it. 6-21 last 3 years.....I did. But how's your luck?
