Sherrone Moore Fired

Legally speaking, yes. His biggest consequences will be financial/professional and personal with his wife and kids.

I honestly don't even know what you do next if you're him.
Yeah, hopefully he was good with his money.

Assuming the narrative can’t be rewritten to get rid of the knife threats his only hope for coaching again would be if he had some really strong personal relationships with successful head coaches and takes work as an analyst for a few years.

Hard to see how he could ever get a HC opportunity. By the time his reputation could be laundered he’ll probably be too old.

About 20 years ago knew a military commander who was messing around with his executive officer and got caught. In the military that is enough to kill your career and possible jail time but it also involved some inappropriate TDY travel funds so jail was very probable. He was informed by the Ops Group leadership (a very poor commander who had her position solely based on identity and connections) that she knew what he was doing and he was going to jail. The next morning he hung himself on his normal jogging route from the frame of the new house his family was building. He would have faced hard times but he would have gotten through it and his kids would still have a dad today if he hadn't done that. Glad that at least hasn't happened here.

If this proves to be the extent of his threats then he should be able to plea down to avoid serious consequences.
Problem is this is home invasion and a third degree felony. They will plea it down, but my guess the fight will be whether it is a felony or not.

I would say he could join Wayne Morgan selling life insurance in NY, but I don’t think he’d get through the background check

This is great theater as long as it's not the team you care about.

Oh, how well we know.

The Larry drinking photos were all over the national media in around May of 2003. Whoever leaked it knew exactly what they were doing to get it out during a dead time of year sports-wise.

Looks like Kalen said no and will stay at bama, minter won’t be coach with Wards as AD so dillingham has moved up as the top priority.

It could also end up being fairly mundane, but hyper sensationalized while people are leaking incomplete information.
Fair to say this is pretty sensational all on its own right now

That **** would have been out in 5 seconds nowadays.

No doubt.

What maybe could happen is Moore starts pushing a “Fatal Attraction” narrative behind the scenes to counteract the one we’ve got now that he is an unstable narcissist and the consensus public opinion shifts to public affair breakup sensationalized by irresponsible reporting.

Here's a question: were those photos from those paper throwaway cameras?

I don't believe cameras were common on cell phones at the time but I don't remember people carrying around regular cameras either.

If Art Briles can get a job, this guy will end up fine. He may need a gap year while the legal process runs its course, but he’ll be coaching again before long.
