Seneca Time!

Not so sure about that. SW sure didn't have a fraction of the time the Bear's QB did. That last series they looked exactly like the ISU OL.

Also, many of the Bears front 7 are rookes and 2nd/3rd stringers. The Packers are in trouble if Rodgers misses extended time.

Re: Seneca Wallace

Seneca looked horrible last night. As a Bears fan, it would tough for me to cheer against him. But them I remembered Micah Hyde and Bulaga played for Iowa, and it became much easier!

That's not fair at all, Rodgers doesn't let back-ups have any practice reps.

He's got put in the worst possible situation and did what he could.

Without Rodgers, I don't think the Packers are any better than the Vikings, maybe not as good.

Did anyone else notice the announcers went out of their way to NOT say he was from Iowa State? I was waiting to hear it all night, but they never said where he was drafted from.

The closest they got was saying he spent 2 years at JuCo before transferring to play 2 years at a university.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

You're wrong. I heard Iowa State mentioned several times.

Re: Seneca Wallace

He looks pretty rusty, has almost thrown a couple picks, but his hand-off form looks impeccable. In all seriousness though, I am enjoying watching him play for my Packers!

I can't remember the exact date, but they stated Seneca hasn't taken a meaningful snap since 2011 or something like that. You could just tell he wasn't the Seneca we all know and love. I don't know if it's the age that caught up to him or if he just doesn't have the spark anymore. The look on his face was like he was either really nervous or was just not that into it.

The Vikings are dumpster fire. Put Ponder on the Packers and they still are better than the Vikings right now.

Re: Seneca Wallace

Seneca has been a packer for....10 days? yeah, I'm sure he got a lot of reps and time with the playbook

How does someone go out of the way to not mention something? Was there a web cam in the booth?

Your point stands though. He's not getting any reps. I'm sure the Packers feel like Rodgers doesn't even have enough reps during the week of practice so I can't blame them. But Seneca did what he could in the tough spot he was thrown in. He definitely looked like he was in over his head though..

Bigger problem ended up being the defense. They just got worn out. Loss isn't on Seneca alone

EDIT: Where did everybody get 10 days??

Seneca has no business being in the NFL anymore.
He fits right in, based on the horrendous QB play I've witnessed around the league this year. The Rams apparently gave serious thought to Brett Favre. The Bills are playing someone named Jeff Tuel. And, well, the Vikings...

They didn't say where Seneca went to school because they were so busy saying where Josh McCowan went to school.

Where did he go to school?

I think it's hyperbole.

It was nice to see him in the game on primetime TV! Depending on what Green Bay does between now and Sunday, it will be good to see him start again and see how he does.

I hope more reps will help Seneca next week but I saw a lot of things from him that probably won't be able to be corrected. Seneca looks like he is considerably slower than he used to be and also doesn't have a strong enough arm throwing the football. Accuracy also seems to be a big issue for him.
