Lots of rumors on the KSU board that Synder is digging in and wants to stay. Apparently they’d only be around 45-50 scholarship players for next year if that happens
Was just reading on one that said there is a new conference tomorrow and they seem to think it's going to be Leavitt.

Despite everyone else jerking off to Snyder and his apparently unmatched coaching career, what I think many used to admire him for is dissolving away as he ages. For probably half of his supports, the admiration was how graceful he has been, I have admired that as well.

Well, the times - and seemingly his personality - have changed. Personally, I think he has shown to be incredibly selfish and blind the past 3-4 years to how much he’s limited KState by not allowing them to move on. Instead, they’re experiencing a slow but consistent decent because even his trademark JUCO players know he’s past his time and there isn’t an enticement to go there.

Yes, he built them into a respectable top half of league school (no longer), but let’s not pretend he made them into Alabama or a national power, even way back.

Now, it’s not a secret he’s been asked to retire for at least 3 years and has refused without a guarantee his son will be his replacement. Well, that’s not gonna happen and his refusal to bow out in grace - and they aren’t firing him for many reasons - has put them in a ****** spot.

Personally, I hope he sticks around another few years based on the trajectory they’re heading. He should always be remembered for doing a good job building that program and for being a classy guy, but he will eventually ruin that memory for many by overstaying his time for what could easily be seen as selfish reasons.

So much this. I hope he stays on a couple years to really drive it into the ground. The longer he stays, the harder it will be for the next guy to rebuild. KSU is historically a horrible program, which is easy for many to forget after 3 decades of Snyder. A rough exit for Bill followed by a bad hire and that program could be battling KU in the cellar for years. I'd love to see it. A crappy KSU would be great for ISU.

Heard that a former K-state player on the K-State sldelines of the game last weekend didn't get any impressions from the Vampire himself or the players that he will be retiring.....

Is this the same one who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night? Sounds pretty serious...

His obsession is exactly what made it possible to do one of the most amazing program turnarounds in history. Is it any surprise he cant let go? He retired once and realized a lifetime of obsessing over football left nothing else outside of it. I bet he will die with his boots on if allowed.

Thank you Jeremy. I think you are brilliant and v handsome. Many people are saying your the Best online forum of this generation.

Can you make me an mod? i really need it my wife has been on me about accomplishing something in my life

If they wanted him gone why did they extend him till like 2022? Seemed odd then. Maybe he has something on the board

I'm confused by Bill's dogged insistence that his son be hired as the next coach. Like, extremely confused by it. From what little I've read Bill has done a ****** job setting him up to be the next head coach (special teams coordinator who isn't allowed to talk to the media much if at all...).

This is a really confusing situation. The guy seems to want to retire but won't. That's a bad situation for everyone involved.

If Snyder is there, it's because his AD still wants him there. It isn't that complicated.

I can understand what the program means to Snyder and vice versa, but I'm sure everybody knows where the buck stops.
