Rivalry would you rather.

Losing the national championship to your arch rival might be the most painful thing this sport could bring

It'd essentially be handing your rival eternal scoreboard unless by some freak happening it happened again in the future (which is extremely unlikely even before considering the two teams involved). No matchup afterward would ever stand up to the trump card of "well, we beat you for a national championship"

If I had to choose between losing to Iowa in a National Championship Game or being crucified, if choose crucifixion every time.

Honestly my biggest fear is we lose on Friday and they win on Thursday so all we hear all offseason is how our "best team ever didn't make it as far as Iowa"

Give Iowa a National Championship and eternal bragging rights or make a final 4 cmon it's not even close.

Horrible. I used the "when is the last time you made a Sweet 16" line for at least the last 20 years. I know exactly what will get shoved right back into my face...

Slightly off topic, but...
As much as I despise the little hokeyes from the TOE and their douchetastic, insufferable, a$$hat fans, the fact they made the Sweet 16 does makes our win over them in December look even better (As does Houston, Purdue and St. Johns also making the Sweet 16).
