Very sad. I'll never forget his Super Bowl halftime show. Didn't matter that he was past his prime and no longer relevant to the music industry or that he had to play in a driving rainstorm...he was friggin' electric.
I have no idea. However, I would guess that people who work around him (in this case maybe the airline?), friends, and family would leak this kind of stuff. If it was family, they probably tell their friends who then tell others.
Another thought, similar how other news organizations have contacts in politics/sports, TMZ probably has a similar network.
This is just speculating.
First Vanity, and now Prince. I can remember staying up past ten because that was the only time they could play some of his songs on the radio. Today's a very sad day.
4 concerts here, plus met him at his nightclub in Minneapolis in 92. My wife is beside herself. She flunked a final to see him.
My husband, Michael Jackson, Prince, and Madonna all born in 1958. Husband being the oldest. I guess he and Madonna are still kicking.
