Recruits stats and Senior performance

Yeah, he must have great shot selection because he's consistently very efficient from the field. I still would caution people that I don't see him being a big scorer in college. I think he can be a nice facilitator and really thrive in transition with his length and passing ability. If you don't stop him though, he's a capable finisher around (and above) the rim.

At his height, he probably has a pretty easy time at getting his shot off relatively uncontested at the high school level (much as Terrence Lewis probably did).

That's all fine and dandy, but I meant more just the number of threes. Don't think I've seen him attempt more than 1-3 per game very often.

Nice. I assume he's trying to get back into the coaching world?
Hopefully. he has had NBA interviews, but nothing came of them. With this FBI thing, it sounds like there will be lots of openings this year. We will see.

Corliss looks like they have won their first two tournament games pretty easily. They take on Fieldcrest tonight at 7PM in the Sectional Semi's to see who will play Momence.

Haven't found much info on how George did, but haven't done too deep of a dive.

Here is a (somewhat annoying) link to the Chicago land State Sectionals, and beyond:
https://www.ihsa.org/data/bkb/2bracket.htm

-if you change the number (2) to either 1 thru 4, it will take you to the 1A-2A-3A-4A brackets. (George in 2A and Zion/THT in 4A)

Those were the opponents fans cheering him like that?
to be fair, like +90% of the teams have no chance of beating Simeon. People show up just for a chance to Simeon play, especially in the Playoffs.

Reavis is pretty dang bad, but they were a little too rowdy for an opposing fan base haha. They were also taking pictures with Talen after haha

It's tough not to notice, no doubt haha. But ya just gotta be better.

Players like that are so polarizing, though, that it is hard not to exclaim or get excited when you see them in action.
I played at a Chicagoland HS and we had a player in our conference who was just dominant, ended up winning Mr. IL Basketball, going D1 and winning a National Championship (Beat ISU on the way to it, still pisses me off he haunted me in my college fandom also) but I would have my friends and other kids in the school tell me how excited they were to see him play that night. He was amazing, and I don't blame em. Our gyms were packed every time we played him and there was a certain air around the game. I loved it, but then again we weren't getting stomped in the playoffs and my student section wasn't openly chanting his name haha.

Point being, it is hard to not get excited when you see a player like Talen live. Especially when, I'm sure, all the CPS's are seeing all of the local/national twitter he gets every week.

Oh, I get it. THT is a rare player.

That is awesome. I can understand being an opposing fan and being in awe of THT, but chanting his name to try and get him back in the game is hilarious.
