As has been noted and now further proven by Diallo not committing to SJU TJ is an UPGRADE over MA. Huge upgrade. Loved MA when he was here, gave everything he had, but his everything is about TJ's 75% when it comes to recruiting.

I agree that TJ > MA but that statement doesn't prove anything of the sort.

If MA would have landed Diallo wherever he was at it would have elevated his profile a lot, but he didn't. And I'm not down on MA at all I think he'll actually be a more effective recruiter at SJU than he was at ISU relatively speaking.

We did lose williams and possibly diallo by him leaving.
Lost a couple of guys to Washington with TJ going there as well. It is not that I am pro-Matt and anti-TJ. I am pro-Cyclone and like both of them for their contributions here. I just didn't get why it was necessary to denegrate one to elevate the other. Sounded to much like my teenagers bickering.

Yeah, he probably will just because there's plenty of players in the NY and NJ areas that would be interested in the local school, plus Slice on staff, too. Think the comparing of Matt and TJ that some are doing isn't valid one way or the other. We'll see out of all these offers, who TJ actually gets.

I don't see how it was denigrating him. He said nothing mean or nasty. He simply said I loved Matt but Tj is a better recruiter. That isn't some malicious statement

I couldn't agree with this more. I like TJ better at ISU but Matt will be better at SJU.

Had a chance to meet Leland King from Brown tonight. Seems like he really likes it here and with Bryant and UC Irvine as our fellow suitors I'd say we have a good shot. He did say he was from LA originally so staying west coast might be his main goal, however. Would be nice to get a young guy like him (he's only 19) to stash for 16-17 along side Babb.

Any real chance of landing him? I know next to nothing about him.
