Looking for things to keep me occupied during ~50 minute low intensity steady state cardio. Something kind of engaging but not super involved or requires a ton of attention. Either TV series or podcast. Just finished up Season 2 of The Punisher for reference, which was great for that. Just push play and work out for the duration of the episode.

Prefer something where a whole season is available at once or has a big back catalog as I try to do cardio 4X/week. Waiting a week for new episodes won't really cut it. Already watched Reacher S1/S2, and will hit S3 when it's all out. All genres are on the table.

I don't miss the days of doing that kind of exercise. I feel for ya. My exercise regime has changed so radically in the last year I won't ever go back to that. Keep it up, hope you find something to kill the time.

I’ll be following this thread for sure, because I’m on the same boat.

When I first started walking every day, I rewatched Spartacus: Blood and Sand. I was, and still am, a sucker for that show.

I’m watching The Sopranos now. Had never sat down to watch before, so figured “why not”? It’s been a good one simply because of how many episodes there are, but I’m almost done. About halfway through the last season.

I was considering Game of Thrones next, but have been told by multiple people watching it while on the treadmill would be a waste for that show. I’ve been told I need to sit down and watch that on the big screen with full surround sound.

Sooo…I’m right there with the OP and looking for suggestions.

I recently watched The Sandman on Netflix while doing cardio. Solid show that I had missed when it came out in 2022. Based on a comic book series.

If you haven't seen Arcane and enjoy animated media it's truly a fantastic mini series. The music, the story, the art. It's incredible. Might be a bit too serious for exercise but maybe not?

The 100 on Netflix has 100 episodes, about 40min each. One episode a workout would keep you busy 6 months. I'm on S3E3 and it is interesting enough but not deep. Half the time I'm doing sonething else at the same time (like reading CF).

I do this 4x/week and lift the other three days. Lifting takes longer so I usually listen to either the Cyclone Fanatic podcasts or Two Guys Named Chris. Need audio only while lifting.

Full disclosure, I’m sitting on the exercise bike watching Williams and Blum this morning.

YouTube has some great options. I try to find an informative video of some kind, related to a subject I find interesting. Learning takes some of the stress and monotony out of the workout for me, plus I get so sucked into whatever I’m watching I don’t watch the clock, which allows me to stop when I have too, and not when I want to if that makes sense

I gave up the workouts long ago because of this. I found that sneaking out on "dates" with the sister-in-laws or my wife's best friends gives me all the cardio I need and I feel more rewarded for my efforts. I've bookmarked this page in the event i ever get caught, for future reference.

Mr. Inbetween is something I've recommended and have been thanked every time. 26 episodes.

The Pitt, new on Max, is great.

Fallout on Prime

I would watch 24 while on the treadmill. That show was always go go go so it seemed to make the time go by quicker

The Pitt is fantastic, best medical show ever created, but might be a little intense at parts for low intensity cardio. It does never have a dull moment but if you cry easily be ready for some tears at the gym
