Pretty amazing that 9 out of the 10 teams in the Big 12 have been ranked in the top 25 this year though.
Anybody want to play that Texas Tech game again? Coming out of a bye week at home, we should win. What is Paul's record coming out of bye weeks, I wonder? too lazy to look up.
I will admit, I am a big Paul R. fan......I just don't know how that staff could have watched Steel PLAY (NOT practice, for God's sake) PLAY like poop and keep putting him in there week after week. All our quarterbacks are good guys, and good players, but we are playing against other players who are on scholarship too, and apparently we are getting out-coached many times.

After 2nd you just as well draw names out of a hat. On a week to week basis you just can't guess who's going to win or lose each week.
Well, this is why we don't get the preseason respect we all crave from the media, other fanbases, coaches and players.

Have to agree - we haven't been near the top half at the end of a season in a very long time. Still a long way for CPR to go to get us to where we want to be.
Quite frankly there were more negatives than positives this season. A competent offense beats tech and wvu. The OSU blowout was inexcusable (and it looks more so every week) as was UT to a lesser extent. We should've taken Iowa to the woodshed. We are damn lucky TCU lost their QB 2 days before playing us.. boykin has looked good since and probably would've beaten us 2 weeks later.

How many of these same media and fanbases had us going bowling again with one of the top 5 schedules in the country?
Going for a windmill? This post is 100% subjective bull ****. If you want to say ending 1 game out of T-5th sucks, fine. There is no need to change positives into negatives with what-ifs and should haves. Applying those and you just as easily could turn it into a good year.
-the offense was not incompetent against WVU, just not good enough.
-the OSU loss got worse every week? Try the opposite, plus if you are going to discredit them for losing to Baylor, that makes ISU's win even better.
-Whatever, can we count our close loss against KSU a win?
-and ISU only had two days to prep for a different QB with no game film. We could play TCU right now and we would have just as good of chance.

I really think if we started offering big time recruits cash gifts, cars and houses we could get the program on the map. Im so tired of finishing 8, or 9th in the big 12
UT and OU already have the market on that. And they'd be the first to blow the whistle on us if we tried.
